I find that it is one of the hardest subjects to write as many students feel it is more of a 'don't know what you are talking about' subject. Some even put that they are writing an essay, not a question and not knowing the answer to the question. And to add to the confusion of the modern way of using college essays to help decide whether or not a student will get into a school as well as to convince them of what college they are going to attend.The first thing you need to do when writing an essay is to write what the real question is. What is the real goal you want to achieve with your essay? You want your essay to accomplish your stated goal. What is the objective of your essay? It should be clear and simple.Next, when you have established the ultimate goal of your essay you want to make sure that you write the most convincing argument. How can you do this? What are your thoughts o n your topic? Are they the 'truth'?What are the latest news or what is happening in the current events or society? If it is current events, you may want to consider researching current events by hand or using Google or some other method that will allow you to look up information. You want to use facts as well as your own opinion.What are the most recent events or news you have learned about? You will be able to decide which ones are the most important to cover in your college essay. With this information in mind you can also use your research skills to find facts and current events surrounding those topics and bring it all together to discuss in your essay.Now for the most important fact, the one that determines whether or not you get into a school and become a college student. This one is simple, but if you want to be able to write the best essay then you need to take the time to think about it. The question is do you care about the main college you are applying to or do you care a bout the university you are attending?Both college students and teachers will look at this statement as a yes answer. Because it takes away any and all other opinion or motives that a student may have on going to college or going to school. Once you have answered this one the rest of your essay will fall into place. Just remember to be sure to study it in advance and come up with a good answer before you start writing it.Before you begin writing your essay, I highly recommend that you begin practicing and be sure to read your essay at least three times. It is not difficult to do but it will help you be sure that you answer your essay question correctly.
